Doctor Biographies

SuperMed Family Medicine and Walk-in Clinic has a highly qualified team of doctors who provide our patients with excellent medical care. Of our team, Dr. Robert Ardell, Dr. Melissa Kuhn, Dr. Banoub and Dr. Nina Rajabi are the four anchoring Family Medical Physicians. We have several alternate physicians that provide greatly appreciated support when needed such as Dr. Oriana Watt, who assist with our walk-in patient care.

For additional information on Dr. Robert Ardell, Dr. Melissa Kuhn, Dr. Banoub and Dr. Nina please read below.

Dr. Robert Ardell MD CCFP

Dr. Robert Ardell was born and raised in the Saskatoon area with a farming background. He graduated with a Medical Degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 1986. Dr. Robert Ardell then moved to Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Here, he started an independent medical practice where he enjoyed working in a more traditional medical office for the last twenty-six years. He completed certification for the Canadian College of Family Physicians in 2004.

In January 2012, Dr. Robert Ardell re-opened the SuperMed Family Medicine and Walk-In Clinic in order to provide more accessible medical care for patients including extended hours. At this new clinic he continues to see his family medical practice patients and attends to the needs of walk-in patients. As well, he provides in-patient care for those hospitalized, obstetrical deliveries, and antepartum and post partum care on the Maternity Ward at Victoria Union Hospital.

Dr. Tamer Banoub MB ChB, MD

Dr. Banoub was born and raised in Egypt. He graduated in 2004 from Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt. He practiced as a hospitalist and Family Doctor for almost 10 years before relocating to Calgary, AB. In Calgary, he worked in the Tom Baker Cancer Centre which is a comprehensive cancer centre for Southern Alberta and a lead centre for research and cancer prevention in Canada. While there, Dr. Banoub was involved in providing medical care and palliative management for cancer patients. Dr. Banoub enjoys the variety and scope of practice that Family Medicine provides, and he has a keen interest in palliative and senior medicine.

Dr. Nina Rajabi MB BCh BAO CCFP

Dr. Nina Rajabi will be taking maternity leave starting the end of June, 2020 and will not be returning to her practice in Prince Albert. Dr. Rajabi is grateful for her time at SuperMed Clinic and the opportunity to meet some wonderful patients.  She wishes you all a healthy future. If you are a patient of Dr. Rajabi’s  and wish to seek a doctor in the clinic, Dr. Ardell is able to take on prenatal, obstetrical and pediatric patients and Dr. Banoub is accepting patients. You will need to speak to the clinic doctor directly about taking on your care.
